Be all the rave this season with the NEW! Hydroxy Acid Forté; the most advanced peel treatment from Vitaderm

Vitaderm is recognised as a leader in the industry when it comes to advanced professional skin exfoliation. To maintain their leading position in the ever-evolving skin care industry, they recently announced that they would, very soon, launch their most powerful advanced peel treatment to date, the Hydroxy Acid Peel Forté.

This clinical range was founded in 2001 in response to a need in the industry, at the time, for a skin care solution that contained no harsh chemicals, no alcohol and no mineral oils. A range that offers results driven professional treatments as well as easy-to-use skin care for home use to maintain healthy skin at home. From the start, Vitaderm maintained its promise by excluding all ingredients that are suspected of being harmful or that are not beneficial to the skin, while also refraining from testing on animals.

In 2008, the brand identified a need among industry professionals for a more advanced skin care solution. As a result, they expanded their offering by introducing advanced active formulations comprising state-of-the-art ingredients at maximum concentration while maintaining the highest standard in ethical skin care when it comes to high-quality, clean and safe formulations. The introduction of advanced active skin care items paved the way for the launch of Vitaderm’s Advanced Exfoliation system.

Vitaderm’s innovative Advanced Exfoliation system is what sets them apart.

Vitaderm combines alpha- and beta hydroxy acids in its Advanced Exfoliation System of time-controlled peel treatments for an epidermal resurfacing effect and target-driven results. The 20% Fruit Acid Peel (pH 3.4) and the 50% Fruit Acid Peel (pH 3.2) are ideal for a first-time treatment to prepare the skin for a course of peels and increase cellular renewal. The brand also offers a 30% Lactic Acid Peel (pH 3.0) that effectively flushes excess pigment from the skin over a course of treatments for a brighter, more even-toned complexion while the 10% Salicylic Acid Exfoliation (pH 3.0) is a purely beta hydroxy acid that exfoliates inside the pilosebaceous unit for a deeply cleansed and brightened complexion. More recently, Vitaderm introduced a 30% Hydroxy Acid Peel (pH 3.2) – a powerful blend of both alpha- and beta hydroxy acids that offers the ultimate in skin revitalisation by increasing cellular turn-around time and boosting the skin’s vitality.

A new age of advanced professional treatments has dawned.

The NEW! 40% Hydroxy Acid Peel Forté (pH 3.0) is the most powerful advanced peel treatment in the Vitaderm Advanced Exfoliation System. This professional peel treatment combines high concentrations of alpha hydroxy acids, including lactic-, glycolic-, citric-and mandelic acid to increase cellular turn-around time, visibly improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, promote an even skin tone and boost radiance. The addition of high-performing oil soluble beta hydroxy acids has been incorporated to effectively reduce congestion and inflammation in the skin. As a result, this treatment is ideal for all skin types, including oily/acne-prone.

It is highly recommended to treat first-time clients with one of Vitaderm’s introductory peels before commencing with a course of the Hydroxy Acid Peel Forté treatments. Alternatively, clients who have been using the retail Hydroxy Acid Serum at home for at least 2 weeks, may be indicated for the Hydroxy Acid Peel Forté as a course of 3-6 treatments or as a single resurfacing booster treatment. The decision must be based on a skin consultation before every treatment.

As part of the new additions to the Advanced Exfoliation System, Vitaderm launched new peel neutraliser, the Neutralizing Powder. This professional product is specially formulated to be used in conjunction with the Hydroxy Acid Peel Forté treatment, however, it may be used as a neutraliser for any of the peel treatments. By adding the powder to water, neutralising may be performed by means of a compress as part of the post-cleansing phase. This method of neutralisation aims to be a more comfortable experience for the client. In addition, the Neutralizing Powder also contains allantoin for its soothing and calming benefits while zea mays extract conditions the skin.

We invite you to share in the innovation and reinvent skin health and wellness with us. Be sure to look out for the launch of Vitaderm’s NEW! Hydroxy Acid Peel Forté this autumn and expand your professional treatment offering by introducing your clients to the many benefits of professional advanced exfoliation treatments.
